The Design
The Engineering Behind Every Fuku Labs Hibachi
Why Our Design is Different
At Fuku Labs, we don't mass-produce grills. Each hibachi is handcrafted in our Buenos Aires workshop, combining Argentine metalworking expertise with Japanese grilling tradition. The result? A cooking instrument that performs at professional levels while being accessible for home use.
Precision Temperature Control
One of the biggest frustrations with traditional hibachis is the lack of temperature control. You're either at full blast or struggling to maintain heat. We solved this with our adjustable ventilation system.
Our small hibachi features 2 adjustable vents for uniform heat control. The medium has 4 vents allowing you to create 2 different temperature zones. The large model features 6 vents for 3 independent cooking zones. This means you can sear steaks on one side while gently cooking vegetables on the other - all on the same grill.
Built to Last Generations
The 7mm difference. Our competitors use wire racks that are typically 1.5mm to 3mm thick. We use solid 7mm carbon steel bars. Why does this matter? Thicker bars retain more heat, create better sear marks, and won't warp or bend over time. These are the same specifications used in high-end steakhouses.
Every bar is cut by hand, welded individually, and tested for perfect alignment. It takes more time and costs more to produce, but the cooking performance and longevity make it worth every extra minute of craftsmanship.
Handcrafted in Buenos Aires
Each Fuku Labs hibachi is built by skilled artisans who take pride in their work. From cutting and welding each component to the final quality inspection, human hands and eyes ensure every detail is perfect.
